Chef Marc Miron—who has run the kitchens of some of the best hotels in the world (please see About us)—is now taking bookings for private cooking classes of 6 to 10 people who want to learn the tricks of the trade. Here are the classes that are available:

1. Chef for a Night — Our next season of these one-night classes runs from January 19, 2012, to March 30, 2011, although private classes can be booked for any time (availability permitting, of course). Choose from hands-on classes where you cook and eat or demonstration classes where Chef Marc cooks—but you still get to eat! Choose from a variety of menus. 2. Chef for a Week — Here's your chance to spend a week in a state-of-the-art kitchen with a world-class chef! Chef Marc Miron spent a career preparing food for royalty and rock stars, prime ministers and presidents, business tycoons and stars of stage and screen all over the globe. Now, you can spend a week at his side learning the tricks of the trade and turning out fabulous food. For $499, you will learn skills for a lifetime that will help you plan and prepare dinners your friends and family will never forget.

3. Go, team, go! — Build team spirit over a lunch filled with fun, competition and great food! You and your group of 10 to 20 people will start by watching Chef Marc create a special main dish. Then, after splitting into teams, you will be challenged to recreate that dish—without the recipe! After the judging, enjoy your creation at the Chef's Table. Cost: $45 per person.

4. Kids in the Kitchen — Saturday afternoon classes for young people between the ages of 8 and 12 are also available. It's the perfect way to celebrate a birthday or special event. About 90 minutes in length, participants get to prepare and enjoy a meal and take home the recipes. Minimum 10 kids. Cost: $30 per person

THE FINE PRINT...

  1. A deposit of 50 percent of the fee is required.
  2. All bookings are fully transferable.
  3. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the class or the deposit is forfeited.
  4. A minimum of four people are required to hold a class. If a class is cancelled, you can reschedule or receive a full refund for your deposit.
