Chef Marc Miron—who has run the kitchens of some of the best hotels in the world (please see About us)—is now taking bookings for public and private cooking classes of 6 to 10 people who want to learn the tricks of the trade from a world-class chef. Download the current schedule.

Classes

1. Chef for a Night — During this one-night evening class, you will cook alongside Chef Marc from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The class includes the three-course meal and all recipes. French? Italian? Asian? How about a night learning about sauces? Or desserts? The choice is yours. Choose from a variety of menus. Six to eight people. Cost: $90 per person. Download the current schedule of classes.

2. Chef for a week — Here's your chance to spend a week in a state-of-the-art kitchen with a world-class chef! Chef Marc Miron spent a career preparing food for royalty and rock stars, prime ministers and presidents, business tycoons and stars of stage and screen all over the globe. Now, you can spend a week at his side learning the tricks of the trade and turning out fabulous food. For $499, you will learn skills for a lifetime that will help you plan and prepare dinners your friends and family will never forget.

3. Lunch and Learn — Each Wednesday from noon to 1:00 p.m., Chef Marc opens up his demonstration kitchen to a limited number of guests who will learn not only how to prepare a special meal, but will also be able to sit down to enjoy it. For just $30 per person, you can take the recipe—and lots of cooking tips—home to impress friends and family! This is open to a maximum of 10 people per week so call 613-845-1090 now to reserve your spot.

4. Kids in the Kitchen — Saturday afternoon classes for young people between the ages of 8 and 12 are also available. It's the perfect way to celebrate a birthday or special event. About 90 minutes in length, participants get to prepare and enjoy a meal and take home the recipes. They even get to keep the apron! Can accommodate six to eight people. Cost: $30 per person

THE FINE PRINT...

  1. A deposit of 50 percent of the fee is required.
  2. All bookings are fully transferable.
  3. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the class or the deposit is forfeited.
  4. A minimum of four people are required to hold a class. If a class is cancelled, you can reschedule or receive a full refund for your deposit.
